IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS AND INFO
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, we are unable to access the home upon arrival, or the home is found to not be in a condition that meets the below requirements, a50% cancellation fee will apply. The fee will be waived for weather-related cancellations if you cancel within one hour of the appointment. This does not include cloudy skies. Sky will be replaced in editing.
PREPARING YOUR HOME If you will not be present for the appointment, we will turn on lights, open blinds/curtains, and remove hot tub covers for you. Apart from these few items, home must be photo-ready prior to our arrival. Your appointment does not allow time for staging, cleaning, or moving items around. These things should be done before your appointment.
Please remove vehicles from the driveway and away from the front of the home before we arrive. Pets should be put in the garage or other hidden area. Please do not schedule landscaping, pest control, construction, housekeeping, etc. at the time of your appointment. If the property is a vacation rental, please ensure that it is not being rented.
Access info must be provided at least 24 hours before the appointment. To ensure quality and efficiency, we ask that the home be vacated for the shoot if possible.
WHAT WE SHOOT AND WHAT WE DON'T SHOOT A typical shoot includes exteriors and interiors, including living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, bonus rooms, etc. We do not shoot garages or other unfinished areas unless requested.
Photos will be taken at the photographer's discretion. If there are specific things you want to be sure to include (or exclude), please leave us a note in the additional information section above. Lighting techniques, angles, and editing style is at the discretion of the photographer.
MATTERPORT® 3D TOURS Your Matterport tour includes 6 months of online hosting. After 6 months, if you require additional hosting time a charge of $50/year per 5 properties will apply. Matterport tours are not downloadable and MUST be hosted on Matterport's servers. If you have your own Matterport cloud account, we can transfer the tour to your account and you will not be charged for hosting.
IMAGE LICENSE TERMS By placing an order, you agree to the following terms:
All photographs, videos, drone imagery, floor plans, virtual tours, and other visual media (“Media”) created by Smoky Mountain Visuals remain the exclusive property of Smoky Mountain Visuals and are protected by United States copyright law.
Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Media solely for the marketing and promotion of the property or properties for which the Media was created. Permitted uses include MLS listings, websites, social media, digital and print advertising, and real estate or vacation rental platforms such as Zillow, Realtor.com, Airbnb, and VRBO.
The Media may not be sold, sublicensed, assigned, transferred, or provided to any third party for independent use without the prior written consent of Smoky Mountain Visuals. This license does not automatically transfer to a new property owner, real estate agent, brokerage, property manager, or any other third party. Any subsequent user must obtain a separate license from Smoky Mountain Visuals.
Smoky Mountain Visuals retains the right to use the Media for its portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and other business promotional purposes.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. By submitting an order and/or using the Media, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
